The longest journey by bicycle in a single country is 24000km (14,912.90 miles) and was achieved by Dhanush Manjunath and Hemanth YB (both Indian) Who rode throughout India, from 11th July 2021 to 12th March 2022. Two BCom graduates from Bengaluru, who are on a bicycle mission to register their names in the Guinness World Records, and Limca Book of Records in the category - the longest journey by bicycle in a single country, covering 22 States and a distance of 25,000 km, arrived in Devanagari on Thursday. After completing their degree in Bengaluru in 2019, Dhanush M and Hemanth YB, both Rotary Club members, who have a passion for adventurous activities decided to take out the longest bicycle journey. on July 11, 2021, from Bengaluru, and visited various States including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Goa, Bihar, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Orissa, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Nagaland, Manipur, Delhi, Punjab, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. Speaking to DH, Dhanush Guinness World Records, and Limca Book of Records, we want to promote the use of bicycles among people. We want people to use bicycles for short-distance travel rather than cars or bikes, and I thus reduce pollution as much as possible.
